Abstract
This research project focuses on microplastics in environmental samples, education and how awareness can shape understanding and behavior. A 30-day study is being conducted to explore how engagement on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram can increase knowledge about microplastics and their environmental impacts. Participants in this focus group will be asked to follow our social media accounts and engage with posted content throughout the 30-day study. Participation in this study includes completion of a preliminary survey, following our social media pages and interacting with content over 30 days and completion of a post-survey at the end of the 30 day study.
