Abstract

This paper will detail the problem, component in question, and the comparison between the results of the Computational Fluid Dynamics analysis and the heat transfer equations used to simulate the heat exchanger in question. The process of validating fluid analysis with CFD will be described. The CFD analysis will also be used to heighten the capstone team's understanding of the function of the component and any abnormalities it may have.
