Abstract
Residential Wayfinding at Ohio Northern University
Ian Wesley, ONU student of graphic design/theatre
Clear signage is essential to making any space easy to navigate. This is certainly true at Ohio Northern University, whose campus contains a variety of residential halls.
Are students and visitors easily able to navigate to a residential hall? This paper/presentation discusses the effectiveness of ONU’s current wayfinding tools, and what improvements might be made to those tools, if any.
Research will be conducted through self-ethnography, literature review of ONU’s maps, and informal survey of students on campus. The results and conclusions of this research will be presented on Apr 22, 2022.
