Abstract
This project serves as an enhancement of a traditional engineering capstone. The capstone project involves the design and creation of an automated chicken coop which will be used at a local farm in Bluffton, Ohio. While design and creation of this coop is the defined scope of the normal capstone experience, the enhancement will revolve around creating a manual for the solution. The user manual created for this project will be an interactive model, built into the system, to assist the user to properly use the solution. This will include explanations of user settings, controls and tips and tricks. This will be fully embedded into the system itself, as interactive user controls. In addition, this will include a “quick start” guide.
