Abstract
For my capstone project, I’ve worked with the founder and creator of LiveItWell, based out of the Greater Cleveland area in Ohio. My client’s goal is to expand her lifestyle and nutrition program outside of Northeast Ohio and adapt her program to appeal to a younger audience. LiveItWell is a six-week, Christian-based lifestyle and nutrition program that aims to break down old, unhealthy habits and create new, healthy habits by putting God at the center of your weight loss journey. This program focuses on healing through whole foods and holistic practices, while minimizing the amount of processed foods we put into our bodies. Knowing my client’s goal, I completed a self ethnographic study, competitor analysis, and multiple interviews with my client. These tactics allowed me to analyze the success of the program, other programs within this market, and the vision my client has for the future of her program. Based on these research techniques, I concluded that the development of a mobile application containing the three separate workbooks used in the program would be the ideal solution to achieve this goal. Additionally, the development of merchandise and apparel, along with cross-platform advertising material, will increase brand awareness for my client.
