Abstract
Letter from Annie Bankerd about the life that fall at ONU. Bankerd describes the competition/tension between the Franklin and Philo literary societies. She also states that the faculty are to build a new building and that the YM and YMCA will raise money to furnish and use a couple floors of the building.
