Aurora

~The Undergraduate Research Journal of Ohio Northern University~

The journal is no longer on hiatus! :)

Aurora is back and better than ever.

See the Aims and Scope for a complete coverage of the journal.

Current Issue: Volume 2, Issue 1 (2025) Health at Home and Far Away

Aurora’s second publication, Health at Home and Far Away, is truly the product of toil, tears, and sweat. However, it is also a collection overwhelmingly full of gratitude and admiration. I am enormously grateful for all of the authors willing to submit their works to Aurora, as that is an expression of both bravery and vulnerability. I am grateful to Aurora’s dedicated student editors and advisor. I am grateful for those willing to support this undergraduate research magazine as it once again fids its feet after the recent pandemic. Most of all, I admire those individuals whose work was selected for this edition. Their talent and dedication in their respective topics and fields is truly limitless. From finding ways to make healthcare a safer and productive environment to bettering the health of astronauts pre, during, and post-spaceflight to making Earth a more healthful place on which to reside to the unexplored depths in video game narratives. These individuals genuinely embody what it means to be a student, to possess the courage to test the world that one might take further steps onward into the realm of learning. After all, learning does not end but is instead a journey with a trail of footsteps to mark the path. These included articles are undoubtedly just such footsteps and may someday be admired as a giant leap in the community of knowledge.
