Abstract

Dr. Kathie Fleck described crisis communication, to which the old axiom to "plan for the worst and hope for the best" aptly applies. No one expects to be in the line of fire when a crisis breaks out but normal citizens, small business owners, church leaders and local officials may find themselves in just that situation. This talk described a few key ways to prepare yourself and your organization and tactics to handle the crisis at hand.
