Abstract

This is a report on the complete build on the robot, Wilson, for the 2019 ATMAE robotics competition in Charlotte, North Carolina. We were given specific tasks that are needed to be achieved with our robot but within specified limitations such as size. Some of the tasks that need to be completed are; the robot needs to be able to move through the maze both autonomously and non-autonomous and the robot needs to be able to pick up, move, and place a sphere, barrel, and a box on a pallet all of different weights. The robot was designed to what we believe is the best possible way to complete all the necessary tasks without any violations. This report will go over the entire build of the robot from start to finish and provide detailed information about the overall experience, each individual team members, and Wilson, the robot itself.
